FieldHockeyAds.com is part of a larger network of web site brands all owned and operated by HummerSport of Virginia, USA under the banner name of the "Global Sports Classified Network" (GSCN). These separate brands are merely to make each version of the site relevant to the specific sport and or geography being served. However, these separate brands are all governed by this single privacy policy and terms of use.

HummerSport has established this privacy policy for use with every GCSN web site to explain to you how your information is protected, collected and used, which may be updated by us from time to time. HummerSport will provide notice of materially significant changes to this privacy policy by posting notice on the FieldHockeyAds.com site.
Every web site that makes up the GCSN - including FieldHockeyAds.com - is a both a free, and for fee service for helping to bring recreational sports players, coaches, teams, leagues, tournaments, camps, and others together. This service could not be possible without the use of information provided by our users about themselves and/or their organizations, including specific information regarding their age, home town, and on how to contact them. Therefore, no one should post any information to this Web site without the understanding that all information they post about themselves or their organization - that is not specifically noted as something that will not be shared with other users - may be visible to all other visitors to FieldHockeyAds.com, as well as to the visitors of other web site brands that make up the GCSN.

" FieldHockeyAds.com does not knowingly collect any information from persons under the age of 13. A parent or guardian of a player under 13 may post information on their behalf. If FieldHockeyAds.com learns that a person under the age of 13 hosted directly posted information, or that direct contact information for someone under 13 has been used, FieldHockeyAds.com will remove that post.
" FieldHockeyAds.com, or people who post ads on FieldHockeyAds.com, may provide links to third party web sites, which may have different privacy practices. Data we collect
" We sometimes collect your email address, for purposes such as supplying reply addresses to ads you contact, sending confirmation emails, authenticating user accounts, providing subscription email services, and enabling people interested in ads you post to contact you via our secure email system (that does not disclose your email address to others unless you specifically reply to a message received through your use of the GCSN.

" We may collect personal information if you provide it in feedback or comments, post it a classified ad, or if you contact us directly. Please do not post any personal information within classified ads anywhere within in the GCSN that you expect to keep private.
" Our web logs collect standard web log entries for each page served, including your IP address, page URL visited on our site, and timestamp. Web logs help us to diagnose problems with our server, to administer the GCSN sites, and to otherwise provide our service to you.
Data we store
" All classified ad postings are stored in our database, even after "deletion," and may be archived elsewhere. Deleting an ad merely removes it form any public view.
" Our web logs and other records are stored indefinitely.
" Registered members can access and update their information through the member homepage.
" Although we make good faith efforts to store the information in a secure operating environment that is not available to the public, we cannot guarantee complete security.
Archiving and display of GCSN postings by search engines and other sites
Search engines and other sites not affiliated with HummerSport or our GCSN - including google.com, archive.org, and groups.yahoo.com - archive or otherwise make available GCSN postings. This can dramatically increase exposure for your ads (which is the point of advertising), but sometimes archived copies may persist on these other sites after you have deleted your ad from the GCSN.
Circumstances in which HummerSport may release information
" HummerSport may disclose information about its users to proper authorities if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to respond to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal process.
" HummerSport may also disclose information about its users to law enforcement officers or others, in the good faith belief that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to: enforce our Terms of Use; respond to claims that any posting or other content violates the rights of third-parties; or protect the rights, property, or personal safety of HummerSport, our employees, the GCSN users or the general public.
International Users

Any player who is using FieldHockeyAds.com or any GCSN web site to find possible teams may use the information provided in order to contact specific teams that they would like to join, or to setup a tryout or practice session.
